Winds of Time

By Kelly Elizabeth Miller

As I sit here looking through
the empty spaces of the room
I wonder where you are
or who you are with.

I get a deep, dark chill down my spine
and you appear just sitting there,
staring at me with your magical eyes.

Slowly, you come towards me
walking at a pace that keeps me mistified
and touch my face with your soft touch.

Then you bend over and kiss me,
I slowly start to melt onto the cool wooden floors.
Then I awaken moments later to find
you have vanished back into the
misty warm winds of time.
