April Redbook Magazine Features Article on Huntington's Disease

From the Spring 2002 issue of Hopes & Dreams, newsletter of the Illinois Chapter, Huntington's Disease Society of America.

"The Medical Test I Had to Take" is a moving HD story about Stephanie Vogt as told to Melba Newsom. Stephanie tells first hand of the plight which people at risk face when deciding whether to be tested for the HD gene or not. While not unique, Stephanie's story poignantly tells of the trials and tribulations each at risk person faces when grappling with the dilemma connected with predictive testing. Be sure not to miss this story of one young woman's courage and strength.
