I Can Still Care

By Cynthia Logan

Cynthia has Huntington's Disease and lives in a nursing home in Guthrie, Oklahoma.

I don't know,
I'm frustrated not knowing.
When people can't understand
What I am trying to say to them,
I'm frustrated.

I get worse everyday.
I'm losing.
I'm losing,
My ability to think,
My ability to speak,
My ability to walk,
I can still care.
I care about my son,
I care about myself,
I care about my mother
I care about my family.
Why did this happen to me?
